Goodwood’s determination to mark Queen Elizabeth’s passing made the cancellation of other recent sporting fixtures unfathomable. The celebration of a life lived in service to the country was shared and remembered amongst the 150,000 visitors. On track, Ed Foster took a maiden win in the Lavant Cup MGB60, driving the car previously bought and shared with his late father — an emotional celebration at the flag. The WSM ran to 15th with 1.39s laps enjoying a flurry with fellow Equipe driver David Russell-Wilks.
