WSM 203 — Sprint

The spaceframe car was commissioned for USA residents Dr George Snively and Dr Clinton Chichester, and was the only WSM built entirely at the Healey Centre premises in Swiss Cottage, London.

It was exported to San Francisco in May 1963 and the alloy bodied car was used in competition for many years.

After Dr Chichester’s death, his son sold the car through Hayes Harris to Takayuki Hata of Tokyo, and it was restored by Ecosse Cars.

Masakazu Yahagi, also of Tokyo, bought the car and campaigned in historic events. In 2011 Tazunu Kaneko took over ownership and continues to compete.
