301 At Equipe Summer Classic.
The Silverstone Grand Prix circuit hosted Equipe Classic Racing’s largest event to date, and the Lotus Elan 60th celebration attracted a 33-strong entry. Peter Hesz piloted WSM 301 on the GTS grid and knocked 7 seconds off his qualifying lap time for a 30th place finish.

The Fanatec GT World Challenge, powered by AWS no less, was the 5th May week-end host where a full Equipe Classic Racing Libre grid enjoyed the intoxicating confines of the Grand Prix circuit in front of big crowds. For WSM 301 owner Peter Hesz and co-driver Gary Puxty it was a first race at the Kent circuit, and the first for the car since an extensive overhaul over the last couple of years. Finishing the Sunday race in 24th from a starting grid of 40 and getting a lap time down to 2m 02s was no mean feat.
